-Description

The insertion resistance thermometers comprise a rugged sensor made of stainless steel. Due to the special form of the probe tip, these temperature detectors are suitable for service in threaded borings. The thermostable compression spring made of stainless steel, which also acts as bend protection, ensures steady contact pressure of the probe tip in the hole. The immersion length can be varied by rotating the bayonet lock. Bayonet locks and counterparts are available in 6 and 8 mm diameter, others upon request.

Pt 100 temperature sensors according to IEC 751, class B are used as standard. Other categories or versions are also available with Pt 500 and Pt 1000. These sensors are available as single or double resistance thermometers. The screw-in resistance thermometers are available in two-, three- or four-wire circuitry.

-Description

Sheath resistance thermometers comprise a thin-walled and flexible sheathed cable made of stainless steel. The cable contains low resistance inner wires made of copper embedded in pressed fireproof magnesium oxide. The temperature sensor is connected to the inner wires and fitted in a protective tube.

Protective tube and sheathed cable arewelded together. Good heat transfer between protective tube and temperature sensor allows fast response times and high measuring accuracies. The vibration-proof design assures long service life.

The flexible probe tube allows temperature measurements at locations that are difficult to access. The minimum bend radius is 5 x outer diameter. Pt 100 temperature sensors according to IEC 751, category B are used as standard.

- Descreption 

The KOBOLD resistance thermometers comprise a rugged installation fitting made of stainless steel with thread, flange or weld-on connection, a connection head out of aluminium casting and a removable measuring element. The measuring insert can be replaced without emptying the installation, since the customised thermowell remains in the installation and seals the process.

The instruments are supplied with the ignition protection Exd as a standard and therefore can be installed in relevant hazardous areas. A Pt100 temperature sensor according to IEC 751, category A or B is fitted in the measuring insert as standard. Depending on customer request the temperature sensor can be carried out as 2-, 3- or 4-wire circuit.

Alternatively these sensors can be designed as single or double resistance thermometers. Exceptional the 4-wire version, which can only be build with one Pt100 due to lack of space. As an option the resistance thermometers can be supplied with a head transmitter.

Transmitter with a standard 4-20 mA signal, with HART ® protocol or with PROFIBUS ® /Fieldbus ® are there to choose from. Beside the available resistance thermometers according to DIN- standard, there are customised versions relating to the immersion length, the connection head, the materials, the process connection or the tolerance classes deliverable on request.
